About this CSV to Excel tool
Opening a CSV directly in Excel often goes wrong: everything lands in one column, accented letters turn into gibberish, long numbers become 1.23E+15 and leading zeros disappear. This converter reads the CSV carefully, detects the separator (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe) and the text encoding, and builds a real .xlsx file with sensible column widths.
Add several CSV files to combine them into one workbook, one sheet per file.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my CSV open in a single column in Excel?
Your Excel expects a different separator (common in Europe, where semicolons are used). This converter detects the separator and puts every value in its own column.
How do I keep leading zeros, such as phone numbers or ZIP codes?
Untick “Detect numbers and dates”. All values are then kept exactly as text.
Can I combine several CSV files into one Excel file?
Yes. Add all the files and keep “Combine all files into one workbook” ticked. Each CSV becomes a sheet.
Why were accented characters broken before?
CSV files don't say which text encoding they use. The converter detects it, so é, ü, ñ, Arabic and Urdu text display correctly.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser.
