About this Resize Video tool
Every platform prefers a different shape: vertical 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for Instagram posts, and 16:9 for YouTube.
Choose a preset or type your own size. If the shape changes, you decide whether to fit the video inside black bars, fill the frame and crop the edges, or stretch it.

Frequently asked questions
What size is best for Instagram Reels and TikTok?
1080×1920 pixels (9:16 vertical).
Will resizing make the file smaller?
Making the video smaller in pixels usually reduces the file size too. To shrink it further, use Compress Video.
Can I make a horizontal video vertical?
Yes. Choose 1080×1920 and Fill and crop edges, or Fit inside to keep the whole picture with bars.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The whole job runs inside your browser using your device's built-in video encoder, so the video never leaves your device.
