This policy explains what information FreeAIConverters.com (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website and how it is used. The short version: we never receive the files you convert.

1. Your files

All tools on this website process files locally in your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you choose a file, it is read by your own device, converted in your device's memory, and the result is saved back to your device. Your files and their contents are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot access them. Passwords you enter to open protected files are also used only in your browser.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when your browser requests a page, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept for a limited time.

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This data is aggregated and does not include your files.

3. Cookies and local storage

We store one small setting in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device.

Our advertising and analytics partners may set cookies, as described below.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. 5. Third-party services

Pages may load fonts and code libraries from our own server. Advertising and analytics are provided by Google, whose use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 7. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
