About this HEIC to JPG tool
iPhones and iPads save photos as HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) to save space. That works well on Apple devices, but many Windows PCs, Android phones, websites and printing services can't open HEIC files. Converting them to JPG makes your photos usable everywhere.
Your photos are decoded in your browser, so personal pictures are never uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is the image format iPhones and iPads use by default since iOS 11. It stores photos at about half the size of JPG.
Why can't I open HEIC files on Windows?
Windows needs an extra extension to read HEIC. Converting to JPG avoids that and works everywhere.
Will my photos lose quality?
At 92% quality the result looks identical to the original. You can choose up to 100%.
Can I convert many photos at once?
Yes. Select or drop as many HEIC files as you like. Large batches take a little longer because decoding HEIC is demanding.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. They are converted on your device.
