About this PDF to PowerPoint tool

Many presentations are shared as PDFs, which is great for reading but awkward when you need to present them, add your own slides, or reuse a page in another deck. This converter creates a PowerPoint file in which each PDF page becomes one slide, at the PDF's own aspect ratio, so nothing is stretched or cropped.

Each slide shows the page as a high-resolution image, so it looks exactly like the original. The text from the page is also copied into the slide's speaker notes, which makes it easy to read while presenting or to copy text into new slides.

How to use PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Choose or drop your PDF.
  2. Choose the image quality and whether to copy text to the speaker notes.
  3. Click Convert to PowerPoint.
  4. Open the .pptx file in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.

Features

Pixel-perfect slides

Every slide looks exactly like the PDF page.

Correct slide size

The slide size matches your PDF, whether 16:9, 4:3 or A4.

Text in speaker notes

Page text is available to read or copy while presenting.

Private

The PDF is converted on your device and never uploaded.

Can I edit the text on the slides?

The slide content is an image, so it cannot be edited directly, which is what keeps the design identical to the PDF. You can add text boxes, shapes and new slides on top, and copy text from the speaker notes. If you mainly need editable text, try PDF to Word.

Frequently asked questions

Will my slides look the same as the PDF?

Yes. Each slide shows the full PDF page at high resolution and with the same proportions.

Can I edit the converted slides?

You can add, remove and rearrange slides, and place new text or images on top. The original page content is an image and cannot be edited as text.

Does it work in Google Slides and Keynote?

Yes. The .pptx file opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote and LibreOffice Impress.

How large will the PowerPoint file be?

It depends on the number of pages and the quality you choose. “Standard” keeps files small, “Very high” is best for large screens.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser.
