About this Text to PDF tool

Plain text files are universal, but they don't print well and they look unprofessional as attachments. This tool wraps your text neatly to the page width, splits it across as many pages as needed, and creates a clean PDF with the font, size and margins you choose.

You can load a file or simply paste text into the box. Text in any language works, including right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Urdu.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste text instead of uploading a file?

Yes. Type or paste into the text box and the conversion options appear automatically.

Which file types can I convert?

Any plain-text file, including .txt, .md, .csv, .log, .json and .xml. The file's text is placed in the PDF as it is.

Does it support Urdu, Arabic, Hindi or Chinese?

Yes. Text in these scripts is drawn with your device's fonts, and right-to-left text is aligned to the right.

Is the text in the PDF selectable?

For English and other Latin-alphabet text, yes. Other scripts are placed as high-resolution images of the text to guarantee correct display.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The PDF is generated in your browser.
