Saudi eVisa and Umrah photo size, and how to make it

Updated 19 October 2026 · 2 min read · FreeAIConverters guides

The Saudi online visa form asks for a small digital photo, not a printed one. Printed sizes like 35×45 mm are the wrong shape for it. Here is how to prepare a photo that uploads without errors.

The usual digital requirements

  • Shape and size: square, 200 × 200 pixels.
  • File size: between about 5 KB and 100 KB.
  • Background: plain white, no shadows.
  • Framing: face and top of the shoulders, looking straight at the camera, taken recently.

These numbers are what visa photo services list for the Saudi eVisa; the visa website shows the current rule next to the upload box, so check it before you submit.

Step by step

  1. Take a photo against a white wall in good light.
  2. Open Crop Image, choose the 1:1 (square) ratio and frame your head and shoulders.
  3. Open Resize Image and set the size to 200 × 200 pixels.
  4. Open Compress Image to KB and enter 90 KB to stay under the limit.
  5. Upload the JPG to the visa form.

Passport scan

The form usually also asks for your passport's photo page. Photograph it flat and use Compress Image to KB or, if it must be a PDF, JPG to PDF followed by Compress PDF.

For printed photos for other visas, use the Passport Photo Maker, which includes Saudi Arabia (4×6 cm) and UAE sizes.
